The Wasteyard is a large area of, well, waste. In the Wasteyard are many of the necessary materials for new Emergences to be forged, although it is not easy to do this since few Emergences are skilled enough to accomplish this task. In time, though, some new Emergences may emerge from the waste on their own accord, assembling themselves from the rubble.

The Wasteyard is all that is left of Earth and covers the entire planet. Few bodies of water remain, and those that do are highly toxic to the few forms of organic life left in existence. Ruined buildings from a time long since past speckle the dark plain. Scraps of metal, plastic, and anything else imaginable lie everywhere.
